SIMMERING animosity between Donald Trump’s two most senior staffers has exploded on live TV, exposing a deep rift in the White House.

Having only been in the job for less than a week, Mr Trump’s new communications director Anthony Scaramucci took to cable news channel CNN on Thursday morning to air his grievances about White House staffers leaking information to the press.

In an extraordinary interview, Mr Scaramucci implied that White House chief of staff Reince Priebus was the source of the leaks and challenged him to deny it.
