Blast rips through US school

A natural gas explosion left nine injured and two unaccounted for at the Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 2. The explosion caused part of the building to collapse, according to the Minneapolis Police Department. Five people were transported to the hospital, where three are in critical condition, the Star Tribune reported. TWO people are unaccounted for after an explosion and partial building collapse at a private Christian school in Minneapolis, fire officials said.

The Minneapolis Fire Department said the explosion was reported at Minnehaha Academy, a Christian school serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
