Brothers accused of ‘Mr Lonely’s’ murder

The family and friends of a man who was found murdered in Maroubra appealed for information about his death on Tuesday, July 11. According to the police, Peter Hofmann’s body was discovered on June 21. His body was found in a car on Mons Avenue in Maroubra with multiple injuries, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. “Peter was a quiet, gentle man who would never hurt anyone and yet someone felt they had the right to brutally attack him and leave him to die alone,” his sister Patricia Hofmann said. “Please, if you saw anything or you know anything about this shameful attack, contact the police.” Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
