We’ve asked the experts how to do it with just a few quick steps.


The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees’ chief executive officer Tom Garcia said one of the first things you should do is so simple — contact your fund or login online and check your personal details are up-to-date.

“Make sure that your super fund has your correct details including your mobile, e-mail and postal address,” he said.

“Remember to contact your fund during milestone events — such as moving house.”
