Gold Road doubles Alaric resource


Gold Road Resources has doubled the Alaric open pit mineral resource to 1.9Mt at 1.51 g/t Au for 93,5000 ounces of gold, with 72% classified in the indicated category.

The Alaric deposit is part of the joint venture with Gold Fields Ltd, 25km west of the Gruyere gold project in Western Australia.

A lower cut-off grade was used consistent with mining cost estimates from the Gruyere feasibility study and an increase in gold price.

Gold Road director Justin Osborne said, “Building on our knowledge gained from rigorous interrogation of the Alaric and Attila deposits we can now apply this improved understanding to our exploration program to build additional resources along the entirety of this prospective and well-endowed trend.
