GUD Holdings posts another annual loss

The owner of the Oates cleaning product brand made a loss of $7.3 million in 2016/17 due to the impact of the sale of its locks and storage products businesses.

GUD Holdings said underlying profit from the businesses it continues to operate car parts and accessories, Davey pumps and pool products and Oates – was $51.5 million in the year to June 30, up 45 per cent from the prior year.

Revenue grew in its automotive business, but fell in the Davey and Oates businesses.
