Hawks ready to get physical

HAWTHORN coach Alastair Clarkson says the Hawks are ready for a targeted player attack from Sydney in tomorrow night’s showdown at the MCG.

But the four-time premiership coach said his players would not get caught up in off-the-ball niggle as they aimed to bring down the competition’s in-form team.

As part of their dramatic form turnaround this season, the resurgent Swans been aggressive in targeting a different player every match.

Clarkson expected the same treatment from the Swans, but warned his players to focus their aggression on the football.
