AFTER months of courting, the Sydney Kings have finally got their man.

Sydney-born centre Isaac Humphries is officially a King after agreeing to join his hometown franchise for the 2017/2018 NBL season.

After a successful two-year stint at the University of Kentucky, Humphries opted to turn professional.

The highly-rated 19-year-old from Caringbah worked out with several NBA franchises over the summer, including the Washington Wizards, after going undrafted.

He could easily have signed a lucrative deal in Europe, but he decided to return home and link with the Kings.

Sydney coach Andrew Gaze couldn’t be happier to secure Humphries — a player rated as one of Australia’s premier rising talents.

“We are really pleased Isaac has made the decision to join us,” Gaze said.
