Nine gives restaurant a third serve

The food being taste tested on the Today Show.

THEY say it is not what you know, but who you know and that seems to be the case on Channel 9’s breakfast show Today.

Yesterday newsreader Sylvia Jeffrey’s brother Aaron’s popular dumpling restaurant Harajuku Gyoza featured on the show for the third time in two years. In a section titled Food Trends, Karl Stefanovic gave a serious plug to the eatery’s ­latest menu item.

“Japan is going absolutely gangbusters over pancake souffle with mouth-watering toast sensations that I taste- tested last night at Harajuku Gyoza,” Stefanovic said.

“They are the hardest things to get your hands on in Australia right now.”
