Punched woman charged after road rage attack

THE woman who was allegedly punched in the face in a road rage attack on the Central Coast — which was captured on dash cam video and went viral online — has been charged.

Bianca Lee Sams, 21, was confronted by a 41-year-old man at the intersection of the Pacific Hwy and Elizabeth Bay Drive at Lake Munmorah about midday on Monday.

A dash cam video captured the exchange, allegedly showing the man punching Ms Sams in the face after getting out of his vehicle.

After charging the Windermere Park man with assault occasioning actual bodily harm yesterday, Ms Sams was charged with malicious damage, being armed with intent to commit indictable offence, intentionally throw object at vehicle risk safety, part of body outside window — passenger and passenger seatbelt not fastened.
