South Melbourne celebrate after Milos Lujic scored the winner in their FFA Cup match against Edgeworth FC on Wednesday night.

SOUTH Melbourne coach Chris Taylor says his players cannot afford to waste time celebrating Wednesday night’s dramatic FFA Cup win.

The one-time National Soccer League powerhouse moved into the Round of 16 of the Cup courtesy of a 94th minute Milos Lujic header which broke a 0-0 deadlock.

South’s next Cup match will be between August 23-30, but in the meantime the club is involved in a thrilling battle with Heidelberg and Bentleigh Greens to finish on top of the NPL Victoria ladder.

All three sides are locked on 45 points. Heidelberg and South have four games to play and Bentleigh three.
