MELBOURNE Storm lock Dale Finucane says uncertainty around Cameron Smith’s availability for Sunday’s blockbuster against Manly won’t be a distraction for the ladder leader.

A decision on Smith (pectoral), set to become just the third player in NRL history to play 350 games alongside Darren Lockyer (355) and Terry Lamb (350), will be made on Saturday after the captain’s run at Gosch’s Paddock.

“Obviously, you want Cam Smith in your side and you want to be able to field the strongest side possible as you can so, I don’t think it disrupts it too much,” Finucane said.

“We’ve had disruptions throughout the year in key positions as well and we’ve managed just fine during the games.”
