Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash in Mindarie yesterday morning, Saturday 1 August 2020.
About 12:15am officers from the Traffic Enforcement Group were conducting a random breath test activity on Neerabup Road, Clarkson, near the intersection of Connolly Drive.
A black Infinity Q50 sedan stopped, however when approached by the officers the driver accelerated away. Police attempted to intercept the vehicle, however the driver only made it a short distance away before losing control of the vehicle and crashed into wall at a residence on Anchorage Drive, Mindarie.
The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man, did not receive any serious injuries.
His passengers, a 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were both taken to hospital by St John Ambulance for treatment to injuries they received in the crash.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the traffic crash or observed the Infiniti sedan along Anchorage Drive, Mindarie prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or make a report online at www.crimestoppers.com.au.
