Socceroos coach Graham Arnold’s FC Seoul move off: South Korean report


“It is true that Arnold was in the managerial candidate, but he is missing from the current list,” a club official told the paper.

FC Seoul’s last coach, Choi Yong-soo, quit in July and the club has not yet installed a replacement.

Other reports suggest the second option available to Arnold is in Major League Soccer. The only US clubs currently without a permanent coach are DC United and Atlanta United, and Arnold is yet to be publicly linked to either job.

Football Federation Australia chief executive James Johnson said in a statement on Tuesday that a coach of Arnold’s calibre would always attract interest but that he hoped the “prestige” of the Socceroos would convince him to see out his contract and guide the team through to the 2022…
