Woman falls 30 metres from ride at Cairns Showgrounds – TropicNow

Authorities have yet to confirm witness accounts that a woman has died after falling from a ride at the Cairns Showgrounds.
While witnesses at the scene heard people close to the ride “screaming that she’s died”, the most recent update from Queensland Ambulance Service at 6pm described her condition as “critical”.
Police, ambulance and fire crews are on scene now, with the area cordoned off.
