The Collingwood Magpies want Adam Treloar out of the club because of a concern around his ability to deal with his wife and daughter’s move to Queensland.
The 27-year-old midfielder’s future hit the spotlight when his fiancee Kim Ravaillion signed a contract to return to professional netball with the Queensland Firebirds.
Ravaillion and baby Georgie will shift north for mum’s one-year deal, a move that sparked questions about Treloar’s future despite his roughly $900K per season contract running until 2025.
It later emerged he had been told by Collingwood to find a new club, even as the midfielder made it clear he no plans to leave the Pies.
