Burglary, Woodford – Queensland Police News


Detectives are investigating a violent home burglary where firearms were stolen at knifepoint at a Woodford property yesterday.

Around 6.30am, two masked men armed with knives forced their way into a Gumtree Court house before confronting a 62-year-old male occupant and demanding the keys to a gun safe.

One of the offenders pushed the resident to the ground before stealing nine rifles, wallets, a mobile phone and car keys.

Both men were wearing black clothing with one described as having a large build and aged in his 30s.

The pair fled with a third person who was waiting in the driveway in a small red hatchback.

Investigators are appealing for any motorists with dashcam who were in the area or on the D’Aguilar Highway at…
