Premier Berejiklian ‘confident’ as NSW prepares to reopen to Victoria


“I feel more confident today than I did when I actually made the decision because we’ve seen both in Victoria and NSW a number of days without community transmission.”

Victoria recorded 23 consecutive days of no new cases and no coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday.

Ms Berejiklian estimated the border closure operation had cost several million dollars, but said “you can’t put a price on keeping the community safe.”
