A man has been stabbed in the back during a violent brawl with a group of 10 men in Sydney’s south.
The 25-year-old was rushed to hospital in a serious condition with stab wounds after an altercation broke out in Wolli Creek Road, Banksia.
Emergency services were called to the Gardiner Park playground about 8pm on Thursday to reports that a man had been stabbed after he was attacked by a group of men.
NSW Police said the man received three stab wounds to the lower back before he collapsed to the ground.
He was given first aid by bystanders until paramedics arrived to treat the man.
Police said he was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
