SAPOL – Fatal crash at Freeling

Major Crash are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash at Freeling last night.

Just before 11pm Friday 27 November police were called to Leske Road after reports that a car crash had been located. Emergency services rushed to the location, but sadly the driver and sole occupant, a 46-year-old local man was deceased at the scene.

The Ford Falcon appears to have been travelling south west when it lost control and hit a tree. Major Crash Investigators attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The man’s death is the 82nd life lost on SA roads, compared to 101 at the same time last year.
