Police are appealing for public assistance and have released CCTV following an armed robbery in inner city Sydney earlier this month.

About 10.30pm on Monday 11 January 2021, an unknown male – armed with a knife – entered a convenience store on Harris Street, Pyrmont.

The man threatened the employee, a 25-year-old man, before stealing cash and cigarettes.

The employee was not injured.

The man fled the store a short time later and was last seen riding a green bicycle with a white seat, along William Henry Street in Ultimo.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were contacted and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Detectives have now released CCTV… More
