A man has died after being charged at by a bull at a rodeo event in regional NSW.
The 62-year-old man suffered critical injuries in the incident in Tamworth.
Emergency services were called to the venue on Goonoo Goonoo Road on Saturday night.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital where he died.
He was later identified as a man from Grafton.
Officers from the Oxley Police District were notified of the man’s death and have commenced inquiries.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
