Update: Serious crash at Yumali


Police remain at the scene of a serious crash at Yumali.

About 9.40pm on Sunday 24 January, emergency services were called to the Dukes Highway after reports that a Ford sedan and truck had collided head on.

The driver of the car, a 60-year-old Meningie woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains with critical injuries.

Thankfully the driver of the truck, a 24-year-old Naracoorte man, wasn’t seriously injured.

Road closures remain in place on the Dukes Highway but are expected to be cleared soon. Please avoid the area if possible.
