Little girl paints rainbows to help the homeless

Six-year-old Olivia-Rose is painting pictures to raise money for Rosies, a charity that reaches out to people who are homeless or at risk, lonely and socially isolated. With 1,400 volunteers, Rosies offers friendship and community to homeless people who visit them at outreach and can refer them to programs that can offer housing, rehabilitation, or job placement. Olivia-Rose learned about homeless people at school and felt she needed to do something. She sells all her masterpieces through her Facebook page ‘Making Rainbows by Liv.’
