Specific groups could be ‘managed differently’ in relation to AstraZeneca vaccine


Deakin University Chair of Epidemiology Professor Catherine Bennett says health authorities want to identify if there’s a particular group which should be managed differently in relation to the AstraZeneca vaccine due to a possible clotting link.

This comes after the European Union’s medicines regulator reported it found a “possible link” between the AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clots in adults.
