Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins says she is confident change can occur inside Parliament House following a landmark report.

Parliamentarians who sexually harass staff could have their pay withheld and be suspended from parliament after a landmark report revealed shocking accounts of sexual harassment and bullying in the halls of power.

“I’m really confident we can get a really significant change and improvement,” Ms Jenkins told Sky News Australia.

“I’m confident that the people there want it just as much as the Australian community.”
