Perth Airport emergency landing as light plane’s landing gear collapses

A light plane carrying 11 people has made a precarious emergency landing into Perth Airport.

The Star Aviation flight was understood to be mostly carrying mine workers from the WA Mid West region on Tuesday morning.

About 10.30am, the pilot radioed in to report a “landing indicator problem”.
