Daniel Andrews in self-isolation after attending event where a COVID case was detected

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews is in self-isolation after attending a 50th birthday party with a positive COVID-19 case over the weekend.

Mr Andrews has taken a COVID test and is awaiting the results after only starting his Christmas leave five days ago.

Current Victorian health guidelines state social contacts of a positive COVID case must isolate until a negative test result is received.
