Sunshine Coast drowning: Father dies while trying to save his son from drowning at Wappa Falls in Queensland

A man has drowned while trying to rescue a child who had slipped into the water at a popular tourist spot in Queensland.

The 49-year-old father is understood to have dived in at Wappa Falls on the Sunshine Coast to save his son shortly before 2pm on Sunday.
