NSW COVID cases today: ICU continues to fill with virus patients as state charges towards Omicron peak

NSW has recorded 29,504 new COVID-19 cases and a further 17 deaths on Monday as the state nears the peak of the Omicron outbreak.

17,646 of the positive results were collected from PCR tests, and around 11,858 from rapid antigen kits.
