Man killed when car crashes into tree in Balliang, near Bacchus Marsh in Victoria

A man has died when his car crashed into a tree on a country road northwest of Melbourne on Tuesday morning.

The car veered off Bacchus Marsh-Balliang Rd in Balliang, just south of Bacchus Marsh, about 9.15am.

The driver, a man who has not yet been identified, died at the scene.
