The world’s first Ritz-Carlton Lodge to open in Wolgan Valley

Two and a half years after its closure due to a landslide which destroyed its only accessible road, Emirates has teamed up with Marriott International to reopen its luxury resort in Wolgan Valley, a remote area near the Blue Mountains.

Since 2006, Emirates has poured $150 million into the resort and will now invest a further $50 million in renovations, working with Marriott International after One&Only Resorts ceased its management contract in June 2023.
