At the heart of the estate is Edgcote House, the Grade I-listed Georgian country house that was the real-life filming location for Netherfield Park, Mr Bingley’s rented abode, in the BBC’s 1995 miniseries adaptation of Pride & Prejudice – better known as the one with Colin Firth in a wet shirt.
