The London-style pavement pint is getting a little easier to enjoy in Sydney. From tomorrow, 1 October 2026, the City of Sydney’s updated Outdoor Dining Guidelines will allow patrons to drink in standing-only areas outside approved venues, without the need for a table or shelf to complete the arrangement. Council approved the changes on 21 September, just in time for silly season.
