Human remains identified as missing Aboriginal man

Human remains found in northern NSW last week have been identified as a missing Aboriginal man last seen by police entering the Gwydir River three months ago.

The body was found by police divers in the river on October 7 about 500 metres from where the 22-year-old Gomeroi man was last seen.
