Police manhunt underway after callous hammer attack on elderly SA man

An elderly Adelaide man has been attacked with a hammer and had his car stolen after agreeing to do a good deed.

On Monday evening, a man aged in his early 20s approached the victim’s house and asked him if he would drive him to an address.

The older man, aged in his 70s, obliged, police said.
