Victoria records 2,179 cases, six deaths

Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley says the state has recorded 2,179 cases of COVID-19 and six deaths.

Mr Foley said two women in their 80s, one woman in her 50s, and three men in their 80s had died.

There are 695 people in hospital, with 157 in intensive care and 101 requiring ventilation.
