Monaro by-election candidate revealed | The Australian

The Nationals Party has announced a candidate for Monaro to replace outgoing MP John Barilaro.

Mr Barilaro was New South Wales deputy premier and head of the Nationals Party before his resignation from politics earlier this month.

The new candidate has been revealed to be real estate agent and award winning author Nichole Overall, who was selected by the Nationals without contest.

Ms Overall is tipped to be the person who will replace Mr Barilaro in the seat at the upcoming by-election.
