Former bureaucrat Paul Doorn gives evidence at ICAC on Tuesday

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has assessed what has unfolded so far on the second day of the ICAC inquiry into former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption is investigating whether the former premier breached public trust after failing to disclose her secret relationship with the former Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire.

Former NSW bureaucrat Paul Doorn has begun giving his evidence on Tuesday morning about the circumstances around a $5.5 million dollar grant to the Australian Clay Target Association in Mr Maguire's then electorate in 2016 to 2017.

"This morning it's Paul Doorn, the CEO of the New South Wales Rugby Union and Waratahs, he was a director at the Office of Sport for the NSW government for several years," Mr Clennell said.
