The Greens have said they will re-negotiate the AUKUS security pact if they hold the balance of power after the next election.

The minor party has released its “plan for peace”, promising to slash defence spending and close all foreign military bases across the country.

The Greens have been vocal opponents of Prime Minister Scott Morrison's deal with the United States and United Kingdom to acquire nuclear powered submarines.
