It’s a ‘matter for Victoria’ regarding possible ‘no jab, no play’ for Australian Open: Hunt

Whether a 'no jab, no play' rule will be implemented for the Australian Open is a "matter for Victoria," says Health Minister Greg Hunt.

“That is their call, but our job is to make sure that it’s only double vaccinated people who are able to enter the country with Australians prioritised first without having to quarantine,” Mr Hunt told Sky News Australia. 

“If there are those that are deemed by states or territories to be critical for major events or workforce, but they haven’t been vaccinated, then they have to do two weeks quarantine.”
