Victorian COVID-19 Commander Jeroen Weimar says 11 people died with the virus yesterday.
He said those who had died were aged between 65 and 85 years of age.
Mr Weimar said there were 747 people in hospital, with 135 in ICU and 83 requiring ventilation.
