Government ‘very uncomfortable’ with new climate policies

The Grattan Institute’s Tony Wood says the government is very uncomfortable with new policies regarding net zero.

“The plan we saw announced last week doesn’t have any new policies,” Mr Wood told Sky News Australia.

“It’s just producing support for technology.

“So, they’ve got to find a way through a fairly difficult, what I would call a self-inflicted, minefield to get a way forward here.”
