Pilot, passenger escape unscathed after plane crashes into water off Perth coast

Two people have escaped serious injury after their plane crashed into the water off the coast of Perth’s City Beach on Saturday.

A WA Police spokesman said the pilot of the light plane reported engine troubles before being forced to manoeuvre it into the water about 20 metres from the shore.
