Northern Territory records nine new COVID-19 cases, Katherine lockdown extended

The Northern Territory has recorded nine new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in a “serious escalation” of the virus situation.

All nine new patients, announced on Tuesday, are Indigenous residents aged between five and 71 years old.
