Scott Morrison’s low approval ratings ‘a case of one lockdown too many’: Clennell

Scott Morrison has "sunk like a stone" in the polls since April, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

It comes amid the latest Newspoll showed Mr Morrison had reached his lowest net approval rating since March 2020.

"What a quick descent," Mr Clennell told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

"On these ratings, he's sunk like a stone since April, and I think it's a case of one lockdown too many for a lot of Australia."
