Major flooding expected as Lachlan River continues to rise

Major flooding is expected today as the Lachlan River at Forbes, in the Central West region of New South Wales, continues to rise.

The Lachlan River is expected to reach a major flood peak of 10.65 metres sometime throughout today, or this evening.
