Questions around religious discrimination laws ‘not easy questions’: McKellar

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry CEO Andrew McKellar says questions around religious discrimination laws are "very complex issues".

"These are not easy questions," he told Sky News Australia.

"These are very complex issues where we're dealing with important rights and freedoms that people should have."

He said it is an issue for businesses who want to respect rights and freedoms and don't want a situation where people are discriminated against unfairly.

"We think this is best handled through ... uniform non-discrimination laws."
