Canada ends COVID-19 policy of turning back asylum seekers between border crossings

Finally! After 20 months, Canada has lifted its unlawful bar on entry to Canada for the purpose of initiating a refugee claim. While the measure should have never been put in place, it is good that Canada is now back in line with its international non-refoulement obligations
