Sky News host Paul Murray says a “football stadium of people get divorced every year” as 2020 saw higher rates of divorce in Australia.
There were 78,989 people married in 2020, compared to 113,815 in 2019.
However, 2020 saw 49,510 couples get divorced – up from 48,582 in 2019.
